So I haven't cleaned my shoeroom yet and it looks as if a tornado hit just that room alone and left the rest of my house alone. I don't know why I just haven't gone in there an tackled it all ready. Instead I go off and travel or go to various amusement parks just to have an excuse not to clean it (and do other things that require my attention, like this here blog for instance). Anyhoo, here are just a few shoes I purchased even though my no new shoes ban is ongoing.
I had been contemplating these for some time. However I wanted to see them in person before I committed myself to them. I knew that if I ordered them online and I didn't like them I would have kept them anyways since I'm lazy about returns and really don't like the whole process. However last week I was near a Bakers and decided to shop away.
These do seem to run TTS. I wore them already and comfort wise they were okay. I might get an insert to help with the lack of cushioning. Other than that they are a nice little boot but I would recommend getting them when they are on sale.
Okay, these break my heart and I am not happy with. They look gorgeous and they do run TTS, however the studs fall off ridiculously quick! I'd only been wearing them at most for an hour when I noticed a missing spike. Grumble grumble. I called the store to see if I could exchange and they asked if they had been worn and was wear vi sable on sole I responded yes and they said no Returns since they were worn.
Ridiculous. Just another reason to love Nordies even more.
I know, I know they look an awful lot like my KATT WP boots but I liked them so and sometimes the weather warrants a peep toe, so give a girl a break. I love them. I found them to be a bit on the tight side and I went with a 7.5. I wore these last night to watch my beloved Packers at the club. They are easy to walk in and I think they are comfy. However remember to size up in these. Wider feet I recommend a whole size.
Yes, here I go again. I can hear you saying "Don't you already have tons of those already?" And the answer is yes, yes I do. However None with spikes and I love this style of wedge bootie. I wear them often and I find them to be comfy.
The sizing on this one is hard to gauge. I tried on the 7's and they were so freaking tight I had to check the size label multiple times just to verify that they indeed were size 7. So then I try on the 7.5 and they fit just as a 7.5 (or maybe even a 8) would. So I don't know if that 7 pair was mismarked or ???? So needless to say I went with the 7.5.
These are cute. They are comfy, stable, easy to walk in but I felt they ran a half size big. I regret not bringing them home in the tan pair as well but I was already purchasing 5 pairs during my "NO NEW SHOES" ban that walking out of that sore with 6 pairs would have been excessive right? Well we'll see if I decide to get them or not.

Now here's the story behind these. I thought they were cute, they were on sale, LAST ONE in my size= Impulse buy. But I don't regret it. They are cute, stable, easy to walk in and very pin up worthy.
So there's some of my new shoes. I say some because a pair I ordered from Steve Madden on 12/27 have yet to arrive. They left FL on 12/28 and they seem to be making a stop at EVERY state. No bull. They won't get here till next week mid week. TWO weeks to ship me some shoes from FL via UPS. Just plain nuts.
